About Us

S.C.K.O was founded to give the everyday water fowler an opportunity to hunt on some of the most premium and diverse hunting land south central kansas has to offer. Sitting just on the south west edge of the Flint Hills we get a wide variety of hunting opportunities. We pride ourselves on putting birds feet down in the decoys to give our clients a high quality experience and best shot opportunities.

Meet Your Guides

Landen Collins (Owner/Guide)

He went on his first waterfowl hunt in 2016 with his brother in law. Since then he has taken waterfowl hunting to be his lifestyle. Throughout the years he has built his relationship with landowners and his fellow guides. He has been guiding since 2020, since the beginning of this journey he has gained much valuable experience. Landen started his own guiding outfit when he wanted to take waterfowl hunting to the next level. Since starting S.C.K.O in 2023, Landen has continued his passion and spread it to all of his clients and fellow guides. He says one of his favorite things about guiding waterfowl is getting to meet a new group of guys every 3 days to hunt with. One of Landen's favorite mottos is "Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life"

Jake Ballinger (Head Guide)

Jake has been hunting waterfowl since 2010 and throughout the past years his passion for waterfowl has grown like no other. From a young age Jake has always wanted to be a watefowl guide. As the years have gone on he's turned his dream into reality, from taking first time hunters to experienced hunters. He says nothing is better than sharing a blind with other hunters whos passion matches and even exceeds his own.

We can't forget the most popular member of S.C.K.O his name is WOODY. Woody is Jake's guide dog, the drive and determination he has is unmatched! Watching him work in the field every season is definitely something special and one of our most favorite parts of every hunt.

Cristian Bain (Guide/Photographer)

He started waterfowl hunting in 2015 with his uncle. After that hunt Cristian struck a passion for waterfowl. Being highly involved with local farmers and landowners building relationships over the years. After many years of hunting, videography struck his interest. Since then he has gained more knowledge and experience to help the company.
